Jetway remembers meanings and patterns
Jetway stores the exact thing you need to learn. Cold as an illness andcold as a temperature are different concepts, even though they share the same spelling.
A concept can also be a reusable pattern rather than a word. Related concepts are grouped into a skill, but each keeps its own examples, learning state, and review history.

Get a new exercise every time
When a concept is due, Jetway writes a new exercise around it. You say or type the answer. The wording and situation can change; the concept being tested does not.
Jetway grades what you produced, can accept a valid alternative, and points out what needs work. That tests recall without making you memorize the front and back of a card.
Every review also gives you a small piece of comprehensible input. The concept stays familiar while the sentence, phrasing, and situation change. You strengthen what you came to review while absorbing more of the language around it.

Speak it to remember it
Pulling something out of memory strengthens it far more than seeing it again. Saying it out loud strengthens it further still: producing language leaves a deeper trace than recognizing it, and it rehearses the retrieval you actually need in conversation.
Spacing is what turns those retrievals into long-term memory. A review that asks you to speak, timed for the moment the language is starting to fade, does more work than a dozen passes over a card you already recognize.

Interleaving reinforces related concepts
The concept due today stays the main target. Jetway can also work in other concepts that would benefit from more practice, as long as they fit naturally.
The main concept gets graded. The others reappear in context, so one exercise can strengthen more than one piece of language.

Concepts become outcomes and tasks
When several concepts fit together, Jetway turns them into an outcome: something useful you could understand, say, or do. It then creates a task to help you get there.
That task can lead to focused lessons, a role play where you use the language, and relevant videos. Your review queue helps shape the rest of your learning.

Jetway adapts to you
After every answer, Jetway updates how difficult that concept is for you and how securely you remember it. It brings the concept back when another successful recall will do the most good.
Jetway uses FSRS, an advanced spaced-repetition algorithm designed to maximize how much you remember for the time you spend reviewing. Once it has enough history, Jetway tunes the algorithm to your learning rate in that language—how quickly memories strengthen and fade—so your schedule becomes increasingly personal.
