Días de ausencia (medical conditions where you miss work)
If you mean you're feeling ill on a particular day, say No me siento bien or Tengo enfermedad for example.
If you're not feeling well and can't go to work, you might say:
No puedo ir a trabajar porque me siento mal.
No puedo ir a trabajar por enfermedad.
Me ausenté por enfermedad. (I was absent due to illness)
When you're sick at work:
"I am sick" -> Me siento enfermo
